Hey, I’m Bagus!
I grew up in Medewi, a small village on Bali’s west coast where the ocean isn’t a destination, it’s a way of life. I’ve been surfing since I could walk, and these waters have been my classroom, my playground, and my reset button.
Five years ago, I turned that lifelong connection into something I could share. Teaching surf isn’t just my job, it’s how I give people something they don’t forget. That moment when someone stands up for the first time, laughs through a wipeout, or suddenly feels free in the water, that’s what drives me.
My edge? I know these waves intimately. The tides, the breaks, the best window for your level, I read all of it so you don’t have to. Every session is intentional: sharp instructions, real-time feedback, and an atmosphere where you feel safe enough to push yourself.
You won’t just enjoy the class. You’ll leave the water smiling, already thinking about the next one.
If I can spark that passion in you, the same one the ocean gave me as a kid, then I’ve done my job.
See you in the water, Bagus.
LET’S GO SURF THE LONGEST LEFT WAVE IN BALI TOGETHER!
